Looking back at 2025

What a year of gigs Wynford and I have enjoyed. When we started as a duo in

January 2024 we never imagined that we could perform at so many great venues and

events.

We are so grateful to everyone that has booked us, all the venue teams who looked after us so well and especially to you - our audiences (without whom!)

The year started for us at Pontardawe Folk Club in February where for the first time we shared the performance with our very good friends The Blessed Crow. The shared numbers we performed we were able to repeat at the Forest Folk Club in Coleford in March. The month of March also saw us participate in two very special events to mark the 40th anniversary of the Miners Strike at Big Pit Blaenafon and The Welfare Ystradgynlais.

This year has also been notable for some very special gigs in some of Wales' finest theatres. It has been great to share our music with audiences at Theatr Brycheiniog, The Met, Abertyleri; The Stiwdio at the Park & Dare Theatr in Treorci and, most recently the magnificent Maesteg Town Hall.

We also managed to play two festivals during this year - our local Tredegar House Folk Festival in May and then to travel across the bridge to play the excellent Trowbridge Festival in July.

We also managed to get some great publicity this year thanks to Jenny White of the Western Mail magazine ( two features in one year!) and a feature in Buzz Magazine back in March thanks to Stella Patrick working behind the scenes!

Throughout the year we have been releasing videos of a number of Wynford's songs showing us in performance - these were made possible thanks to the technical expertise of Mike at Towpath Studio and our former band mate and record producer Tony Williams. We are particularly pleased with the visuals for The Universal - do check it out on this website!

So, Wynford and I thank everyone for your support and, starting on Friday 16th January at Y Muni Pontypridd, look forward to some more great gigs in 2026!
